What To Expect

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

One of northern Thailand’s most important and beautiful temples, located near the top of Doi Suthep (Mount Suthep). It is place of worship, dates back to the year 1373 when the first Chedi was built. It is an important pilgrimage spot for the devout and is sacred site to many Thai people. Visitors can take the 306 steps staircase or ride on a cable car to reach the pagodas.

We continue to Hmong Hill tribe village traveling by Songtaew, a local truck. Drive along rough dirt roads to a village inhabited by the White Hmong hill tribe. Spend time exploring the village, meeting the inhabitants and learning about the traditions and customs of this unique ethnic group. Lunch will be provided at the hill tribe Village. After lunch, we start trekking downhill passing lush green forest to Mon Tha Than Waterfall, a nine-tiered waterfall, for about 3 hours. You will learn about trees and native wildlife in their natural environment in that area.
