Overview

The focus is on the cycling experience on our E-bikes and seeing interesting places on our way like rice fields and orchards, beautiful views, Ping River, and some villages we cross. In the morning we have a great ride through the beautiful scenery around Chiang Mai to the Ping River. We cycle mostly in flat land on paved roads. On our morning adventure, we also pass/visit Wat Ton Kwen, Wat Chang Nam archeological site, Wat Wang Sing Kham, Wat Chaiya Sathan. In the afternoon we have another great ride through the beautiful, hilly scenery around Chiang Mai. We cycle mainly on paved roads. On our adventure, we also pass/visit Wat Phrathat Doi Tham, Wat Ban Pong, Wat Umong, Royal Flora. Enjoy a trip that caters to riders of all levels - perfect for a fun-filled family activity! What To Expect

Wat Ton Kwen (Wat Intharawat)
Wat Intharawat is a temple build in the typical Northern Thai Lanna style architecture, it’s also calles Wat Ton Kwen. The complex consists of a viharn, an open pavilion (sala bat) and a large open mondop. The temple, locally also known as the Wat Ton Kwen, is one of the very few remaining wooden temples in its original state in Chiang Mai province.

Wat Umong
Wat Umong is also called the forest temple, the jungle temple, or the hidden temple. Located just outside the city it was hidden in the jungle till the city grew and came closer. The temple complex is located at the foot of the mountain Doi Pui and dates back to the 13th Century. The complex consists of some old ruins, tunnels, a stupa, a monastery and it functions as a meditation center.

The local tale said that people believed there was a golden Prabhuddasihing Buddha Statue sunk by the deck of the temple where the rain tree is today. Wang means a place and Sing Kham is the name of the statue. So that's why this temple is called Wang Sing Kham.
