Visit remote Temples, forest waterfalls, small rural Hill Tribe villages, and float gently downstream on bamboo rafts.   • The Tuk Tuks are bright orange – there’s no doubt people will see you coming – and all have their own names and, we think, different personalities!
  • We recommend lightweight cool clothes (shorts and t-shirts are perfect) for the trip. You may also like to bring an extra pair of shorts / t-shirt to change into after you’ve been rafting
  • All the Tuk Tuk’s are original, classic ‘Bangkok style’ Tuk Tuk’s but modified slightly both for comfort (a touch more leg and headroom) and also to ensure that they can cope perfectly with the mountain roads. They all also can ‘roll’ the roof back if you
  • Each trip will consist of up to 5 Tuk Tuks each with a superb, experienced, professional driver and of course one of our great guides leading the way
  • Face masks required for guides in public areas
  • Gear/equipment sanitised between use
  • Hand sanitiser available to travellers and staff
  • Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

What To Expect

Mae Wang
Our team will pick you up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and you’ll then transfer by private minivan to The Tuk Tuk Club’s base, nestled in the Mae Wang valley. You will then head off in a convoy of wonderful bright orange Tuk Tuks through small farming villages and along twisty roads.

Your first stop is the remote and rarely visited temple of Wat Doi Sapanyoo. Huge Buddha statues and stunning 360 degree views await. Then it’s back into the Tuk Tuks and more rural villages where visitors are still a novel rarity giving a great opportunity to see life well off the beaten track.

Mae Saphok Waterfall
You’ll take a short walk through the forest to a forest waterfall where, depending on the water levels, you can even sit in the pools to cool down!
